1. It's Christmas time again.
2. Most people says that Christmas is just like any Christmas in the previous years. We go to church, exchange gifts, shack hands etc.
3. But people do not realize that Christmas is different every year. We do shack hands with the same people, exchange gift, but we failed to realized that the environment are greatly different!!!
4. People changed in times, physically and emotionally. Last year, my daughter only aged less than a year. This year, I will celebrate with one year plus aged daugther!!! So much different. The beer that we offered last year might be the same with this year, Tiger Beer, however, the environment, the people we will be drinking with might be the same.
5. So people, appreciate every day, every festival and every Christmas greatly, celebrate it like you would not be able to celebrate next year!!!

Telco Service Voice Mail, pls go!
1. I regularly check my monthly telephone bill. To my surprise, every voice call charge is 8cents per minimum 2second!!! I got few calls costing averagely RM1.50 per month for those people who does not pick up my phone or service out of service.
2. I feel cheated by the telco services that charge is usually happened due to no network coverage, either myself or the person that I call. This is not fair at all! If the charge is because I made the call, it is fine with me. But for the stupid automated answering machine?
3. Nowaday, we have few applications on smartphone that provide free calls, free message and even free video calls. I don't know whether people nowaday still listen to their voicemail recording. Well, I don't check or never check.

Death...How much ready are we to face death...
1. Yesterday (Sunday September, 9 2012), my wife and I were informed of a sudden death of my wife's relative at Tuaran. He was involved in a fatal accident, between a motorbike and over-speed car.
2. When we reach the place, we can felt the sorrowness and sadness of the family members and relatives. The family member did not expect the accident at all. I heard the family member visited the scene earlier to wash the sprawling blood on the road....how tragic...
3. When the body was finally return from the mortuary, the body has been put in the coffin, clean and make up as if he is only sleeping. A pair of rosary was in hand, lie down in the coffin, looking very peaceful. The family members especially the wife was sat near to the beloved husband, crying as if there world is going to end. I bet the wife is gravely sad.
4. At that moment, lots of things cross my mind.
i. Would my loved ones cry as much as the wife when I'm gone?
ii. Would I cry as much as the wife if my love ones died...be it my wife, parents etc....?
5. If we really have the time to say goodbye, do we still cry that much? What would you say/do knowing that it is the last moment before the accident?
6. But then again, who got the power to predict the future?
The Longest Movie
1. Do you have your own personal Movie like Jay Chou's clip " The Longest Movie" aka "Zui Chang De Dian Ying? You can find the link here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLTyFML4wd4&feature=fvwrel
2. I love Jay Chou's song as it really reflects my childhood love story, not only this clip but others.
3. I cant understand nor read mandarin/chinese, but depend solely on translation by people. Credits to them for translating the lyrics. Among the lyrics that I really like:
i. Is LOVE more precious when it is kept in the heart?
ii. Let me freeze these memories forever...
4. Do you like these lyrics so much like I do?

The Long Distance Relationship
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQgdxLRk6eY&feature=player_embedded
This short film is indeed very interesting, touching, feel sorry perhaps love. Whoever never had the distance relationship would never felt the hurt.
The short movie reminded me again that we must appreciate the people that we have every second that we have. Appreciate every moment, people close to us, every decision whether it is right or wrong, I strongly believe God has the plan for us.
In schools, we were taught to be persistent. If we failed, we keep trying, try very hard to get pass. In life, the situation would be a bit different. We don't have the time machine to undo our wrong thing. Instead, whatever mistake that we made, just put your faith that God has the plan. Whether the result bad or good, I think it would be depend on us to translate them into positive.

Marriage: Happily Ever After or Just a Joke?
1. If we notice the Malaysian entertainment news, we are often served with artist/celebrities's marries/divorce/remarries news. Just browse through the online news, or forum or peoples' blog. All filled with spicy news, Celebrt A married with Celebrt B, Celebrt C divorced Celebrt D, Celebrt E married 2nd, 3rd or 4th wife etc. All this celebrities generally are muslims. I rarely heard non-Muslim of such case. I remembered only person, Daphne Iking divorced and remarried. The rest, nil.
2. It seems like a joke when people is freely wed their partner, after awhile divorce them. They seems do not care at all, children that they have, respect the in-laws. All they care is LOVE. They seems that no effort to salvage the husband-wife relationship. In many cases, the wife are the most suffered.
3. Yes, in Syariah Law, a person is allow to marry numerous time, wife more than one, divorce anytime. It is as simple as coughing. While in Canon Law (Christian) which applies in Malaysia as Law Reform (Marriage and Divorce Act 1976), non-Muslim is only allow a single marriage. Divorce is not allow in Christian while in Law Reform allows.
4. I always thought the way to prevent the marries-divorce trend, Syariah Law must follow the Canon Law. I cant think of any other way to prevent this thing from happening.

Finally it's Over..
At last, our project now has been unofficially accepted by the client. The Initial Acceptance will be signed by them very soon, I hope it will be smooth...
To be frank, it's been like working like s*** for the past over 1 year with the client. What has coz it? The immature, emotional and arrogant new, young engineers. To tell ya, they got their own idea, so-called design and all the procedures which may not exist in the ConstructionWorld!!!
For example, how do we do earth works during the wet season? Technically, its quite impossible because of high moisture content unable to compact, it creates environmental issues i.e. dirty the road, slippery, wasting of material when you have to scrap the earth top layers etc. (anything you can imagine). Flat surface earth must effectively drain the surface run-off water, like the airport run-way etc. But the client's engineer instruction is ridiculous. Their instruction sometimes will results in poor quality of works.
Well, enough of bad talking. Its finally over. Not totally over cos we'll start a new phase with almost the same scope of work. At least, we are better prepare now.

The pose of the missing Diver...
1. Ahaha.....it has been more than two years since the last update in my blog.
2. This blogs is supposely promote my diving activities, environment, interesting island and the beautiful creatures (such as manta stingray http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stingray , nudibranch http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nudibranch etc). However due to the recent incident whereby my BCD burst and my regulator hoses leaks during the last diving, I have hang my booty and wet suit temporary in the closet.
3. I did my last diving in Kimanis Bay observing the cutting and extracting the ancient sunken shipwreck probably aged 25years. The rate of corrosion and growth of barnacles can explain them all. The best part is there is Turtle lives in the shipwreck!
4. Anyway, thats the last time I dive. Im looking forward to go dive again but this time, I'll bring my ex-gf aka wife ahaha....I wonder when will the time come.

What happened to Ringgit???
1. I read a very interesting article by people in my favorite newspaper, Daily Express last Sunday August,26 2012 titled " HOW OUR CURRENCY FARES TODAY AGAINST SPORE,BRUNEI.
2. In the early days of independent, one ringgit malaysia (RM1) was equivalent with 1 Brunei dollar (B$1) or 1 Singapore dollar (S$1). However nowadays our dearly ringgit Malaysia is valued at RM1=B$0.396 (B$1=RM2.523) and RM1=S$0.400 (S$1=RM2.499). Our money has become small and no value!!!
3. One very good example is automotive industry. Car (Sedan Toyoto Brand) for example in early '80s only cost below than RM10,000 with the nominal income of RM1,500. Now, it has cost RM85,000 for the same brand and type! When our national car was introduced, it help the low income group to own a car. I think PR should go reviving the currency RM value rather than try to reduce the car price.
4. Same goes with the other product. Last time roti canai in early '90s only cost below than RM1. Now in 2012, price has gone up to RM1.50. The size and taste also somehow smaller and less tasty.
The economists are blaming the world rising cost of operation/production. However, if we could maintain our currency value, I believe our expenditure wouldn't cost as much as today.
5. The government must gives effort or look for alternative on how to reinstate the RM value.

RCI: Does it really solve Sabah problem?
Some says this is an obselete issue. Some says it is very important to determine Sabah's future. What would you say?
1. Dompok says: PM dijangka akan umum RCI TOR on 11th August 2012
Daily Express 8th August 2012
2. Mahathir says: RCI Sabah Tak Perlu
3. Donald Mojuntion says: Mahathir humiliate Sabah Natives
Daily Express 10th August 2012
4. Bukti Pendatang Asing diberi IC
Why is the government being ignorant on this issue?
There are two possible answer. Either it is baseless. Or this is their (government) work. Evidents are all around. You go to KK Market, you see Philipines. You go Tawau, Sandakan, Lahad Datu or other East Coast Sabah, there are all obviously not local. How can the government turn blind?
I am eager to hear announcement by PM tomorrow on the RCI TOR. By right, if the findings confirm the presence of PATI with genuine IC, this particular term of Parlimentary/State line-up must be revoked. This should be the ultimate result.
I will try to update the RCI TOR content here for discussion.
Till then..
